Discover Te Ahurea, Northland’s living Māori village, where Ngāti Rēhia invites you on a unique cultural and historical journey that connects the past, present, and future.
Set on one of New Zealand’s most significant sites for both Māori and early European settlement, Te Ahurea is nestled in the beautiful Kerikeri Basin in the Bay of Islands. Here, beside the historic Kororipo Pā (Hongi Hika’s fortified enclosure), the Kerikeri Stone Store, and Mission House, you’ll explore an interactive Māori pā site that brings history to life.
