Situated 800 metres south of the Napier/Taupo turnoff, our location boasts a lakefront setting with a secure swimming beach just across the road. Even on a “bad traffic” day, it’s only a 4-minute drive into town.
Right across the road, nestled on the lake’s edge, stands the renowned Two Mile Bay Sailing Club, known for its delectable wood-fired pizzas.
Nestled in Two Mile Bay, our location offers an excellent sandy beach for swimming and boating. A mere 200 metres away, you’ll find the boat launching ramp, and ample boat parking is available.
Backing our motel is a spacious four-hectare public reserve, perfect for running your dog or enjoying the expansive green surroundings. The Lions walking and cycling track, adjacent to Lake Taupo, is just across the road, leading you into town or south to Five Mile Bay. Bikes are available for hire at a minimal cost.
