Cycle Nelson — Formerly Gentle Cycling & Nelson Cycle Hire
Cycle Nelson brings together two beloved local businesses, Gentle Cycling and Nelson Cycle Hire, under one name. Now, every rider can find their perfect adventure. Whether it’s an easy vineyard cruise, a day exploring Nelson’s scenic cycle trails, or a bucket-list mountain biking experience.
We welcome all riders: families exploring together, visitors discovering the region at their own pace, adaptive riders showing that cycling is for everyone, and thrill-seekers chasing legendary trails like Wairoa Gorge or the Old Ghost Road.
What hasn’t changed is our local expertise, friendly support, and commitment to making every ride safe, easy, and unforgettable. From maintaining top-quality gear to guiding trips, we ensure every ride is seamless. Plus, we give back to the land through conservation projects and community initiatives. These trails and landscapes are treasures worth protecting.
