Fully Supported Bike Tours
We’re proud to offer you our amazing value for money, fully inclusive 6 night’s 7 day’s tour on the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail (A2O). This tour rides the entire trail, with 7 days in the saddle, staying in fantastic, varied accommodation, with amazing food, and with a small intimate group.
You will enjoy the breathtaking scenery, meet the locals and experience the best our region has to offer. Our driver-guide will look after your every need making this a stress-free experience and a tour to remember. Our tours start on a Sunday morning, where you will be collected from your Christchurch pick-up point (other destinations can be pre-arranged).
Alps to Ocean Express Tours
The A2O Express offers you the same great service and hospitality as our fully inclusive 7-day tour, but allows you to experience the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle trail in just 4 or 5 days. This means you can either ride further each day or we can drive sections of the track – saving your legs for the very best the A2O has to offer!
Our A2O Express can be modified to suit the length of time you have. Please enquire and we will design a tour to suit your requirements and arrange dates to suit you.
Alps to Ocean Day Trips
Want to cycle sections of the A2O but don’t have time to do the whole thing? Just passing through Twizel and want a day riding? Then we can help you! Our A2O daytripper’s can provide you with a bike and transportation to get you to the section you want to ride.
Need the airport transfers but once on the trail want to go alone? Want to ride the trail and having problems trying to get the accommodation all lined up? With our years of experience on the trail we can offer you self guided itineraries on the A2O and take away as much of the organising pain as you wish. We are up and down the trail all the time and living here have a huge amount of connections. We can use these to help you get the experience you want. Give us as much detail as you can and we will see what we can create for you.
We have been providing bike hire in for over 10 years and our fleet has grown especially with the growth of the Alps 2 Ocean.
We provide a bike that suits the NZ conditions you will encounter on the Alps to Ocean trail.
Our standard bikes are the Norco Storm 1 mountain bike. We also have e-bikes for hire.
Our bikes come with a rear carrier and trunk bag to help you carry enough gear for your days riding. If you want to carry more ask for our trunk and pannier rear bag. Our trunk bags carry 12 litres, and panniers carry 22 or 40 litres of gear.
We also have full-sized waterproof panniers for hire. The bikes are also equipped with a water bottle holder and a rider’s helmet.

Without a doubt, our price is very competitive. That is because everything is included: accommodation, meals, bike hire, transport, etc. All you need to do is enjoy the scenery. - At dinner time we ensure as much as possible that you can choose off the menu. Set menu’s spoil the culinary fun, but not for our guests. We even have a wine tasting to test your nose.

In comparison to most other operators, our Full Tour package includes an extra day for you to enjoy the A2O experience. That means less stress and more experiences to share with your team: Get Steam Punked, visit the Victorian Precinct or go for a single trail MTB experience if you haven’t had enough.
