Built in 1870, New Plymouth’s oldest wooden building has been lovingly restored and filled with an eclectic range of art and furnishings by owner and host Terry Parkes. Nice Hotel – Seven luxury individual bedrooms with contemporary art, designer bathrooms, double spa baths or massage shower, comfort and style. Traditional armchairs, good work desks and beds to dream in.
Best Suites – Designed to cater for the longer term accommodation, corporate guests who need to stay for weeks or months rather than days. Or those who need a bit more space, providing the best of both worlds. The decor is of the highest standard and sumptuous flair.

In the heart of New Plymouth, Nice Hotel and Best Suites are well located for business and pleasure, in full view of the Len Lye Wind Wand and adjacent to historic St Mary’s Church and New Zealand’s leading contemporary Art Museum the Govett Brewster & LenLye Centre. Relax in the Lobby Lounge or Have a drink from the New York Bar. Dine at the award winning Table restaurant with style wit and charm, where food is to be enjoyed and the wine savoured. A spacious and airy dining room with a delightful outdoor deck and tropical garden.
Open Tuesday – Saturday from 3pm for drinks and snacks, dinner from 5pm.
