Mill Creek Cottage is also a peaceful and family-friendly accommodation option near Whitianga – perfect for wedding guests or a rural retreat. Located just 25 minutes from Hahei and Hot Water Beach, the cottage sleeps up to 6 people and features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a cosy cabin sleepout.
Overlooking a serene pond, the fully self-contained cottage includes a full kitchen, lounge, patio, and laundry. Enjoy the river swimming hole, explore forestry trails with valley views, or meet our friendly farm animals including ducks, pigs, sheep, horses, and chickens.

Whitianga. Less than 15 minutes from the cottage is the township of Whitianga, an attractive township with a deep-water harbour. Whitianga, is the fastest growing town on the Coromandel Peninsula and is very popular with tourists for swimming, shopping, dining and a number of outdoor activities available year-round.
Hot Water Beach. Famous for its naturally heated mineral water where visitors can dig their own spa pool, Hot Water Beach is also a beacon for surfers for it’s beach breaks.

Hahei. Hahei, is an attractive beach fringed with Pohutukawa trees. It’s a sheltered beach ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. The township has great shops and eateries. Hahei is a short drive from the beginning of the walkway that leads to famous Cathedral Cove.
