Experience a Working New Zealand Farm

GlenMac covers 1,583 hectares, rising from approximately 300 metres at the homestead to almost 1,200 metres at the back of the property.

Guests can gain an insight into everyday life on a working Merino, half-bred sheep and beef cattle farm.

Activities such as shearing, mustering, working sheep dogs and feeding lambs depend on the farming season, so particular activities cannot be guaranteed during every stay.

Farm Tours

A four-wheel-drive farm tour takes guests through the property to see where the sheep and cattle graze, learn about farming life and experience the open tussock landscape.

The elevated country provides expansive views across the Waitaki landscape, from the mountains towards the coast.
