Cathedral Cove is one of the true jewels of the Coromandel and an absolute must-do when visiting our region. Join us for a 2-hour adventure exploring stunning highlights including Boat Harbour, the impressive Orua sea cave, Hot Water Beach, and the Te Whanganui-a-Hei Marine Reserve.
Perfect for all ages, this tour is a fun and relaxed way to experience the thriving marine life of a 30-year-old reserve — see how many snapper you can spot! If time allows, you might even enjoy a refreshing swim or snorkel. And of course, no trip is complete without a selfie at the iconic Cathedral Cove.

ALDERMEN ISLANDS / RUAMAAHU
Also known as the Vanishing Volcanoes, this unique island chain consists of amazing ryolite domes, sweeping cliff faces stretching hundreds of metres vertically into the air, and is littered with endemic flora and fauna not found anywhere on the mainland. Adding to the mystique of this magical place is the marine life commonly seen in the area. Regarded as one of Aotearoa’s finest diving locations, you never know what you might see on one of our tours. Sightings may include whales, dolphins, sharks, turtles and all manner of seabirds.

Slipper Island Water Taxi
Just 2 miles off the coast (15 mins by boat from Tairua Marina), South Bay offers stunning volcanic cliffs, pohutukawa-fringed beaches, and golden sand shores.
Enjoy swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, or beach games — with some gear available to hire. Perfect for couples, families, or groups, it’s the ideal spot to relax with snacks and a quiet drink.
Fares start from $40pp each way (cheaper for larger groups). Pick-up/drop-off times vary with tides and boat availability — contact us to plan your trip. Please note: no toilet facilities on-site.

The route of our tours varies with the ever-changing sea conditions, so no two tours are the same! Operating around the low tide can be tricky for us, so keep your phone close, as we may alter the trip time by an hour or two. We are also a weather dependent service, and your safety and comfort are our priority. If we decide conditions are not suitable, we will contact you ASAP with a few options. This may be a refund, voucher, rescheduling of the booking, or an alternative tour.
