Located just 15 minutes drive from the centre of Nelson, The Cable Bay Adventure Park is Nelson’s adventure destination.
We can cater for individuals or groups on all our activities and can create custom experiences for events or groups, wedding etc.
We are open year-round and can also customise hours of operation to suit our customers needs.
Nelson Adventure Park
From the adventure activities to feeding the eels or enjoying something at the café,  there is something for everyone, rain or shine.
When the weather is wet, we have a range of waterproof clothing, so you don’t have to avoid the puddles on the quad bikes!
We can provide a pickup service to and from town for those without transport, minimum numbers apply. Open everyday of the year except Christmas day.
Groups & Functions
We cater for corporate events, sporting events, weddings and any other special events.
Whether you want to utilise an area within the stunning property or want to experience any number of the on-site activities we can help design an experience around your requirements.

We can also arrange bus or shuttle services in and out of town and all venues are licensed to midnight.

The Skywire Experience
One of the World’s longest Flying Fox’s – set right here in Nelson. The one of a kind experience is an amazing scenic ride with a shot of adrenaline flying high above the forest canopy.
Quad Bike Tours
Combining excitement and adventure the guided quad bike tours are an unforgettable adventure where guests self drive the quad bikes through native forest settings, around areas of the farm and up to the magnificent coastal views of the Cable Bay area.
Mountain Biking, E-Bike, Shuttles
Explore The Cable Bay Adventure Park by bike. Bring your own bike, or hire one for the day! There are options for rental Mountain bikes as well as fully trail capable E-bikes and a small selection of kids bikes. All rentals include a helmet and support in the case of a mechanical or flat.
The Adventure Park offers bookable private shuttles for groups up to 6 and potentially an on-demand shuttle uplift when available.
Base Café
Cabinet food and sit down menu options. Delicious food to suit most dietary requirements including Vegan and Gluten Free.
Paintball
We operate the largest Paintball theme park in Nelson offering a huge variety of paintball action featuring forts, trenches, creeks and much more.
Climbing Wall
Our Climbing wall is great fun for all ages, it has 4 stations – each 8m high and a multitude of routes to challenge your skills on.

No matter your age there is something to keep you entertained at the Cable Bay Adventure Park.
Younger kids love petting and feeding some of the tame farm animals or feeding the eels, hours of entertainment and a large open grassed area in front of our Café to keep them occupied if you are relaxing over coffee.
River and forest walks, scenic views and activities for all ages. The climbing wall is a favourite with kids, as is a game of paintball with friends
Bring the bikes for a ride on the trails or around the farm with rental bikes available and kids scoot bikes if required.
