About Fern Hut, Our Family & Community
Welcome to Oakleigh Family Farm, home to a rich tapestry of native bush, diverse flora and over 10,500 farm animals. As third-generation farmers, our family has a long-standing commitment to sustainable farming and environmental care.
We invite guests to join us on a farm tour, where you can meet our working dogs, pet sheep, goats, pigs, chickens and seasonal baby animals. The farm is also home to native wildlife including long-fin eels, freshwater crayfish and native birds.
Our land has always been a place of refuge and renewal, and we’re proud to share it with guests seeking meaningful rest and reconnection in their off grid accommodation experiences.
