A great place to stay and explore the Taranaki region. Very comfortable and has everything one could possibly need. Very close to everything but feels like being in the country. We were lucky and had the most amazing sunsets over the mountain.

This is such a cozy stay. This house is immaculately clean, and such attention paid to all the details. The kitchen is generously stocked. Shower had amazing water pressure and beds very comfortable. We stayed only one night, but wished we were there longer. Would be a very nice base camp for the area for an extended stay. Cheers to the host for such a well thought out accommodation.

An exceptional local on the foot of Mount Taranaki – a magical place to spend your holidays.
Our hostess Therese took care of many needs – water, orange juice and milk in the fridge, complimentary breakfast, snacks, chocolate, … The view on Mount Taranaki is really magnificent ! This is a cosy and comfortable place to stay to explore the Taranaki region, and there is many things to discover and to do.

More than peaceful, just perfect! Don’t miss out on this place if you are looking to stay in the area. Everything in the accommodation is just perfect. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay welcoming from snacks milk bread etc on arrival. We can’t recommend peaceful on Pembroke more highly. We came to hike to the base of Taranaki volcano 🌋 we couldn’t of been in a better location.
