Massage Treatments

• Relaxation: A smooth flowing style of massage to unwind and let go, leaving you with a feeling of calmness and bliss. Helps with circulation, emotional stress and anxiety.
• Hot Stone: This is a total relaxing massage. using heated basalt stones, which are placed on certain parts of the body. The stones are also used to massage to relieve tension through weight and heat of the stones
• Thai Massage: Pressure is applied to energy points and lines of the body to stimulate the energy body. passive movements are used to open a balance the muscle-skeletal structure and to release blockage and restriction.
• Therapeutic: A holistic approach, treating the body as a whole. A varied range of techniques are used to what each individual client requires.
• Deep Tissue: Focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles. Used for chronic aches and pain. The movements are slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated in areas of tension and paint to reach sub-layer of muscle and fascia.
• Reflexology: The application of specific pressure to the reflex points in the feet, hands and ears. Helps to create a healthy harmonious state within the body and triggers the body's natural powers of self healing.
• Aromatherapy: With an extensive knowledge of essential oils. I will ensure you have the right blend to suit your needs.

Our Story

I am Deirdre Carter, Massage Practitioner and have been a qualified therapist since 2004.

Starting at Palm Springs Body Clinic Papamoa in 2005. I continued to massage many regular clients until moving to Whakatane in 2008.

Since then I continued to massage in Osteopath Clinics, where I have created  a solid client base. I am now at 12 Domain Road in a mixed practitioner clinic.

I am passionate about continued education, always striving  to keep up with the latest knowledge and techniques within the massage industry.

Expect to receive an intuitive professional treatment. A massage with a fusion of styles and techniques which I have acquired from my extensive training and knowledge throughout the years.
