We specialise in our BBQ Buffet Lunch and Dinner where the meat is cooked on the barbeque in front of dining guests. We offer breakfast options also. We offer the opportunity to dine outside, either on the decks or under our spectacular old cherry tree. This blossom's in the month of October and makes a picturesque setting, or over summer provides a cool shady place to dine and enjoy the views of the surrounding award winning gardens and native bush which is teaming with bird life.
Our lawn tennis court is available for use and we provide tennis racquets and balls free of charge.
In winter, dine in-doors and enjoy the high-up views from the large windows in the main dining room or cosy up next to the wood burner on those cooler days in our smaller dining area.
Our restaurant has two dining rooms, the main seats 145 people and the joining dining room seats 99 people. Outdoors seats 90 people. So we are perfectly suited as a wedding venue and offer special menus and equipment hire as well.

Roselands Farm Park
The Farm Park has a wide and ever-expanding variety of farm animals that are a good example of what is farmed today in New Zealand. Visitors get to feed and pet these friendly farm animals and get up-close encounters providing excellent photo opportunities. There are often baby animals to bottle feed or cuddle with supervision of their handler. The surrounding views include native bush, valleys and farm land. The Farm Park is nicely nestled in amongst all this and provides a peaceful and relaxed setting to enjoy the animals and get close to nature. Guided farm tours are available to be booked for no extra charge with large group bookings.
Farm Show - We also offer a visit and experience to the Roselands Farm Show. The show is held in a typical Kiwi farming shed located on the neighbouring property. This shed boasts Kiwi ingenuity and displays of his-torical farming equipment and tools. It has a real country style feel to it and will make guests feel like they are a part of the farming lifestyle. The show features many current farming demonstrations such as sheep mustering with our well known sheep dogs, sheep shearing, animal health and care, cow milking and the beef industry. We also demonstrate how it was done in past times and our audience gets to participate with a “hands on” experience to get a real feel for the country life.
There are many exciting photo opportunities and laughs along the way as this light-hearted and fun show unfolds and concludes with the feeding of our baby animals.
