This stunning retreat offers the perfect base for experiencing New Zealand’s rich culture or you can simply relax and enjoy the tranquillity of this stunning location from the comfort of our inviting entertainment rooms with open fireplaces.
Rotorua Accommodation
Just five minutes from the heart of Rotorua City, Peppers on the Point is located on Kawaha Point Road and comprises of an exquisitely furnished converted 1930s mansion. Accommodation within the retreat includes nine spacious, luxuriously furnished suites with most featuring stunning lake views. There is also two private lake cottage suites along with the owner's residence - The Lake Villa and a Two Bedroom Lake Villa Apartment, both available on application.
Without leaving the retreats surrounds you can indulge in a heavenly massage onsite, try fly fishing from our private beach, enjoy water sports and tennis or even spend your day boating. Peppers on the Point’s dining room is also renowned for serving fabulous New Zealand cuisine accompanied by the finest New Zealand and international wines, it is an experience not to be missed.
Rotorua is the heartland of New Zealand’s Maori culture and is set amidst a landscape of erupting geysers, hot thermal springs and bubbling mud pools. With so many sights to see and cultural offerings within easy reach, we will have you immersed in relaxation upon your return.
Weddings
A relaxed and tranquil atmosphere for a wedding of up to 70 people depending on your chosen venue. Featuring various picturesque settings for your ceremony and reception, Peppers on the Point’s most enchanting venue is the stone chapel. Positioned above the lake it boasts an impressive panoramic view spanning from Lake Rotorua to the historic Mokoia Island. Other charming settings include our luscious green gardens, lakeside and our elegant function room.
At Peppers on the Point we are renowned for our gourmet food and wine prepared on site by our experienced team of Chefs, all of which you and guests will indulge in. We can create a special menu catering to your culinary desires.
The intimate nature of our retreat ensures your wedding experience will be truly unique, ultimately delivering the perfect day for a couple’s perfect beginning to married life. Our experienced team is here to ensure everything runs smoothly and we are delighted to coordinate everything from photographers, flowers, hairdressers, make up, music and entertainment.
Our accommodation can cater for up to 30 guests in luxurious styled rooms featuring antiques and exquisite finishing’s. We can tailor wedding packages to suit your requirements and would be delighted to welcome you to this unique wedding destination.

At Peppers on the Point our talented chefs will cater according to your requirements and offer a wide range of dining experiences. Dining options range from pre-dinner drinks and canapé to a casual barbeque in a selection of our intimate venues. Delegates will be treated to gourmet New Zealand cuisine accompanied by some of New Zealand’s finest wines.
