Set amidst 2.8 acres of landscaped grounds, complete with 64 well-equipped studio units, with 42" plasma flatscreen TV, tennis court, outdoor seasonal swimming pool, 2 private indoor hot tubs, guest laundry facilities, ample off-street parking, 2 conference rooms and The Lakeland Bar and Brasserie.

Lakeland Resort offers relaxing and comfortable accommodation, superb conference and function facilities with The Lakeland Bar & Brasserie serving divine cuisine. Please note we are closed in the Restaurant and Bar on Sunday nights.

Accommodation on the shores of Lake Taupo

Lakeland Resort accommodation in Taupo takes pride in accommodating you in beautifully appointed  units. We have 64 studio rooms, all rooms have queen-size beds + a single and 8 of our rooms come with jetted spa baths. We can also accommodate guests who wish to share in our triple rooms, and we have two accessible rooms. Our modern studio rooms are designed especially to suit the needs of both the leisure/tour traveller as well as the busy corporate business traveller.

Business travellers will appreciate our free ultra-fast internet access and having a table right beside the jack point and power point where they can work from their laptops.

Whether you are in Taupo for meetings, family occasions or simply to take a break, Lakeland Resort accommodation is designed for your comfort. We have equipped all units with tea and coffee-making facilities, 42" TVs including SKY channels, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, all rooms have ensuite bathroom. Housekeeping is available daily. Laundry facilities; self-service guest laundry. There is plenty of FREE off-street car parking OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM. Two private hot tubs complementary use for our guests. Restaurant and bar open from 5pm, dinner from 6pm.

Conference Rooms in Taupo

The resort features 2 conference rooms which are ideal venues for meetings, training seminars, product launches and all types of functions from 6 to 80 delegates. The Lakeview and Rainbow rooms both provide a comfortable area with natural lighting, air-conditioning, technical equipment, comfortable new leather executive seating, secretarial services upon request and personalised catering, menus available. Lakeland Resort has a team of professional friendly staff to ensure a successful, well-planned event and memorable stay.

Restaurant and Bar

After a day of working, travelling or having just come in from experiencing the local treasures of Taupo, what could be more inviting than to enjoy a crisp glass of one of New Zealand's many award-winning wines. Then delight your taste buds with one of our chef's sumptuous creations from The Lakeland Bar & Brasserie.

The Lakeland Bar & Brasserie boasts a large selection of buffet or set dinner menus as well as a delicious a la carte menu that changes seasonally. Open for breakfast from 7am-9.00am daily. Bar opens at 5pm and dinner from 6pm. Group lunches by request. Reservations recommended but not essential (groups over 8 must book prior). Available for private functions. The Restaurant and Bar is Closed on Sunday night's.
