Napier's Art Deco rebuild after the devastating earthquake in 1931 has attracted visitors to the city for its architecture popular of the time. Napier is also the home of New Zealands National Aquarium, and is an ideal holiday destination for families offering a wide range of activities for all ages. Visit Napier Prison and take a look around the country’s oldest prison on a self-guided tour.
Hastings is a great place to enjoy the outdoors, with exceptional beaches, cycling trails and walking tracks, and iconic natural landmarks such as Cape Kidnappers and Te Mata Peak. Also home to great food and wine which the region is known for.
Havelock North is situated at the base of the prominent landmark Te Mata Peak on the Heretaunga Plains.
