Wilson House
(built1904)
Staying at this historic house will be a special experience for
you. Set in the beautiful countryside close to the Mahurangi River,
Warkworth; its less than an hour north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
A good first night stop for overseas visitors on your way north
to the Bay of Islands. The house has been fully renovated after
being abandoned and left derelict for many years. It is now a gracious
B&B and also serves as a retail gallery for European tapestries.

We only take
one party of guests at a time to ensure a special stay. There are
two rooms available and in the evenings you have the house to yourselves.
Birdsong from the adjoining bush will wake you in the morning, so
you can go for an early walk down to the river-or enjoy a relaxed
lie in. The well stocked library also has a selection of CDs and
a wonderful cooked breakfast will be served on the terrace in the
morning.
