Bridge
to Nowhere Tour
4-5 hour tour to the Historic Landmark “The Valley of Abandoned
Dreams” better known as “The BRIDGE TO NOWHERE”.
During the tour you will also pass many of the locations used in
filming the 2004 movie "River Queen" starring Samantha
Morton & Kiefer Sutherland.
This
tour is one of the most memorable experiences that brings you so
close to an era of the past & present time, a tour that will
surprise you with special thoughts of what might have been.
MANGANUI
– O- TE AO RIVER: 45 min Tour
This
stunningly scenic jet boat tour departs from Pipiriki which takes
approximately 45 minutes return trip. This tour takes you upriver
to the famous “Drop Scene” area. The name originates from
the musical hall days of the 1900’s. This area consists of
three(3) caves, two(2) of which are The “Puraroto” Caves
& on the right side of the river is the “Dress Circle”
Cave.
