Daily
transport from Greymouth to Christchurch return. West Coast
Shuttle prides its self in quality of service for all travellers
whether you are a young backpacker exploring New Zealand for the
first time, a well seasoned discerning passenger who likes the good
things in travel or a regular traveller with a wide variety of needs.
We
have two identical coaches to ensure that you will always be provided
with the same high level of service at all times and to ensure proper
care and maintenance of our coaches.
Time
Saving
- West Coast Shuttle gets you there quicker by not stopping along
the way for comfort stops or refreshments. Times are generally 4
hours Greymouth I Site to Christchurch Square. Traffic congestion
in Christchurch City, number of stops for pickups / drop offs or
road conditions can vary this time.
Comfort
- We strive to offer the best possible service by providing ample
leg room in reclining seats with individual pillows, throw rugs
available. The
coaches are air conditioned for summer or cosy for winter and air
suspension for a smoother ride.
We
have available on board, chilled bottled water available at $2.00
and light snacks at $2.00 (small fruit drink and small biscuits)
and young children will receive a complimentary small soft toy.
A clean on board toilet. (Possibly the only service coach in the
South Island with a toilet)
The
Coach is video equipped and used to show tourist region promotional
material. All our drivers are well experienced tour drivers and
understand the needs of travellers.

Departs Greymouth Information Centre Cnr Herbert and Mackay
St 8.00am, arrive Christchurch approx 11.30 am Airport, (then
via Riccarton Mall, Hospital) arrive at square (outside 123
Worcester St) at about 12 noon. Departs outside 123 Worcester
St Christchurch 3 p.m. (Pickup Hospital, Riccarton Mall, Airport),
arrive Greymouth approx 7.00 pm. Please
ensure that you are waiting at least 15 minutes prior to departure
time.
- Skiing/Boarding
- West Coast Shuttle offers low cost transport options to Porter
Heights Ski field July to October. We operate Saturday or Sunday
plus selected days of the second week of the July school holidays
and first week of the September school holidays.
- Private
Charter
- West Coast Shuttle is available for private charter. We are
equipped with a baggage trailer suitable for transporting Packs,
Bikes, Skis, Snow boards or any other personal baggage.
