to Waiwhenua Farmstay. We are close enough to take day trips to
visit other attractions in the greater Hawkes Bay area.
Our unique farm
stay is set just off the Napier-Taihape Road - at the edge of the
Kaweka Forest Park and boundary the Tutaekuri River. Our guests
experience a genuine farmstay on our extensive sheep, cattle and
deer farm.

"Annie's
Cottage" -
welcomes the larger group or family wanting self contained accommodation.
Minimum two night stay is recommended and to avoid disappointment
prior bookings are essential ..
Our recently
renovated historic farm cottage has extensive views over farm land
and beyond to the cliffs of the trout filled Tutaekuri River.
"Annie's Cottage" is in the heart of the large intensive
sheep, cattle and deer farm.
Relax, unwind
and treat yourselves to the best country retreat Hawkes Bay has
to offer.
"Annies
Cottage" is set in very private and quiet surroundings.
A special place to wind down,relax and enjoy your stay.
We have an excellent
swimming and trout fishing river on the property. Fishing equipment
and licences available during the season.
Pets
welcome on approval only- outside only -and we can cater for horses
if you wish to trek around our beautiful farm and river.
A small charge applies for grazing and trails.
An extensive
farm tour is offered to those that are interested. We offer
our guests farm walks that take you to the view points and
up streams and the river. Many mountain and lake walks within
20-30 minutes drive.
Soak up the
atmosphere of a working family Hawkes Bay farm. Enjoy the hospitality
of your hosts Kirsty and Gary and family at the Waiwhenua historic
homestead for a swim, coffee, a beer on the veranda or just a chat.
Meals
can be arranged for guests (usually home grown beef, lamb or venison)
with prior notice.
