Waimana Point is situated on a 17 acre, beautiful secluded point,
featuring panoramic sea views over Kawau Bay. All this is just 1 hour
North of Auckland and 15 minutes from Warkworth on New Zealand’s
beautiful East Coast with a rural backdrop in the heart of the Matakana
Wine Country
The
design brief was to make the best possible use of the views with
the aid of local craftsmen, materials and fittings. Waimana Point
endeavours to give you the best this region has to offer.
Architecturally
designed, the lodge is beautifully appointed and built to include
uninterrupted panoramic views from each part of the building. It
is especially unique in its seclusion, offering a perfect escape
for pure relaxation, uninterrupted business conferences or the romance
of a secluded wedding. Whether it is dawn, dusk or midday you will
know this is a special piece of New Zealand
Accommodation
The four suites are located on a lower level of the main lodge building.
All have kitchenettes giving greater dining options for guests. Three:
Kowhai Suite, Nikau Suite and Puriri Suite have super king/twin beds
and en suites , the fourth Pohutakawa Suite has two bedrooms both
with super king/twin beds and a shared bathroom. All suites are luxuriously
appointed with fine linen, cane furniture and have under floor heating
and ceiling fans for your comfort. Guests have views to both the north
and east and their own patio areas leading out to the garden and private
walkways over property and to the beach.
Each
suite is fully entertainment and business integrated, with LCD TV’s
DVD’s and stereo sound system.
Weddings,
Small Functions & Conferences
Waimana Point provides the ideal venue for, those special occasions
such as small boutique weddings (maximum 25 guests) wedding anniversaries,
honeymoons and romantic weekends away. Waimana Point offers a 48
square metre conference room with the very latest in audio and visual
equipment capable of video conferencing, laptop ready for multimedia
/ power point, DVD, 42 inch plasma television.
