to soak it up in 100% chemically free-natural geothermal water,
with a variety of bathing options ranging in size and temperature
from the 18x9 meter splash pool with adjoining toddlers beach area
to the passive 38oc-40oc hot tubs or why not try one of the four,
temperature controlled by you private pools.
Take a walk
along the Eco trail where the rare and endangered chrystella fern
thrives and view the impressive Te Manaroa spring, producing the
largest single source of boiling water in New Zealand. Afterwards
enjoy a tasty snack from the Pookeko in a Ponga tree cafe offering
a range of uniquely New Zealand styled cuisine.
Adjoining the
pools is a small personal 20-site campground offering powered and
non-powered sites with kitchen, showers, toilets and laundry facilities
