to the Volcanic Activity Centre. We are an hands on interactive educational
Centre explaining the Taupo Volcanic Zone.
We
are located in the heart of the Taupo Volcanic Zone and bring to
life the explosive past of the volcanic and geothermal features
that have shaped this beautiful landscape. The Zone covers an area
of 19,635 km2 in the North Island.
