built in 1908, it has been architecturally redesigned and renovated
by your hosts. Both apartments are totally private and self-contained,
each with a kitchen, bathroom and laundry. It is luxury accommodation
with rare charm.

The
Loft apartment is on the top floor and opens onto a breathtaking
balcony right above the water. The warm sunny living-room is furnished
with Jenny's hand-painted textiles, and in the bedroom the luxurious
super-king bed has a hand-dyed and embroidered canopy. There is
a double futon in a small sleeping loft, sky TV, telephone and original
artworks throughout. The kitchen is equipped with every modern facility
and stocked with food to cook sumptuous breakfasts.
The West Wing apartment retains the old world charm of 1908,
with log fires in the spacious living and dining rooms. It opens
onto the original wide verandah with an ancient wisteria framing
the spectacular view. There are two bedrooms, one with queen and
one with twin beds, plus a comfortable sofa-bed in the living room.
The apartment is furnished with Jenny's hand-painted textiles, original
artworks, Sky TV, telephone, and a fully equipped kitchen stocked
with food to cook sumptuous breakfasts.
