Abundant marine life and a wealth of water activities for every
interest: scuba diving, sailing, sea kayaking, deep sea fishing,
parasailing, snorkeling, swimming or sunning on pristine sandy beaches.
Take a short trip to the Hole in the Rock at the tip of Cape Brett
to watch the whales and dolphins or a day trip to Cape Reinga and
Ninety Mile Beach. Walk coastal, mangrove, or forested walks, taste
wines at the vineyards, explore historical Pompallier or the Waitangi
