Canyon Adventure Centre is a family operated business & is the
regions first established jetboat operation. Situated above the
very scenic Waiau Gorge the Centre offers a professional approach
to many activities which include jetboating, bungy jumping, &
rafting.

riverside base is only 5 minutes drive from the Hanmer Springs township
& is just 300 metres from the Hanmer turnoff on state highway
7.
The
Thrillseekers Adventure Centre was opened in 1992 on it’s present
site & provides employment for a number of people living in
the area. The present site of the office & café offers
spectacular views of the gorge & is the departure point for
all river based activities & the bungy jump.
Thrillseekers
design their jetboats specifically to meet local river conditions.
They are constructed entirely of aluminium & powered by Twin
Lexus Quad-Cam V8's pumping over 300 litres of water per second
through the jet units. Travelling in as little as 10 centimetres
of water the boats are designed to provide a maximum of safety &
comfort for our passengers.

Adventure Centre offers a wide range of activities to suit the tastes
of individuals & groups alike and can cater for groups of up
to 1000 people.
