The Resurgence
is a destination in its own right. Set in the delightful Riwaka
Valley, in 20 hectares of bush, there are 3 km of walking tracks.
You are surrounded by native birds and tranquility. There is no
road noise and no other buildings in sight. In the evening, soak
up the Lodge atmosphere and experience the local cuisine with refined
dining in a convivial atmosphere or self-cater and enjoy a peaceful
evening accompanied by the sounds of nature.

Peter & Clare, will help you plan and book the best local activities.
We can lend you maps or guide books & pack you a picnic if you
are off for a hike. Having travelled widely ourselves, we know how
the importance of free internet, wifi & cheap phone calls. We
have a laundry service so you can enjoy your holiday while we look
after the practicalities.

and make your stay guilt free.
FOOD &
WINE
Meet your hosts over aperitifs at 7pm before joining your fellow
guests for our 4-course table d'hote dinner. The menu changes daily
according to the seasons...

If you are looking for your own secluded hide-away, pick one of
the Bush Suites. Select the Bush Lodges for honeymoons, romantic
breaks and pure luxury. The Bush Chalets are perfect for casual
summer holidays and nature lovers. Enjoy breakfast in your Suite
and either dine at the Lodge or cook up a treat on your BBQ. Private,
stand-alone unique wooden suites nestled in the bush with views
over Kahurangi National Park. With timber ceilings, natural colours
and luxury wool carpets our bush suites offer all the comforts of
a room in the Lodge plus kitchen & BBQ facilities

Select our Deluxe and Superior Rooms for the fully hosted Boutique
Lodge experience. These ensuite rooms are upstairs in the main Lodge
building and tarrif includes full cooked breakfasts, aperitifs at
sunset and 4-course table d'hote dinner. For total luxury, book
a Bush Lodge with full breakfast and dinner.
