As
soon as your car heads down the long fern-flanked driveway, you
will know that you are in another world. Settle in, then take a
wander in the cool bush, paddle a kayak on a tranquil harbour, or
just walk and talk with our animals.
Take
advantage of the many free leisure activities,, or use it as a base
to explore the many wonders of the Coromandel
Peninsula - a world renowned place of unspoiled beauty.
Go
fishing, diving, tramping or sightseeing, then come home and watch
the sun set over the harbour.
Accommodation
Choose from seven fully furnished, self-contained modern cottages
with all of the comforts of home. Each unit is beautifully appointed
with a fully functional kitchen and bathroom/ensuite - along with
a television.
Each
cottage sleeps 2 to 5 people, with sweeping views of the harbour
and entertainment areas from each lounge and the surrounding decks.
There
is also a larger unit for groups (of up to 23 persons), made up
of 2 bunkrooms with comfortable bed-bunks adjoining a and vast dining/cooking
area. Prices here are NZ$25 per person, $35 with linen.
The
kitchens in each unit are well set up - with hot plates and microwave
facilities - and good capacity fridges. Bedrooms boast comfortable
beds and bedding, and units have stunning views of the harbour and
playing fields.
There
is also a 2 bedroom log cabin available which takes up to 6 people.
Prices are $250 per night, $25 each extra person.
