luxurious and exclusive suites, each with their own terrace and
individual outlook. Attention to detail and individual needs are
anticipated so unwind in a peaceful setting.

(500-thread) and wool.

Takatu
Wines & Vineyard
Takatu Vineyard is situated on a warm north facing hillside above
Matakana Village. It has the ideal aspect as it is sheltered from
the prevailing cool south-westerly winds and the summer heat is
moderated by a gently sea breeze from the nearby Pacific Ocean.
A
comprehensive search was carried out to find the best combination
of site, soil and microclimate. This has helped produce the finest
quality grapes needed to create ultra premium wine.
Each
vine is hand tended with individual care and attention and the harvest
hand picked. This defines our expression fruit of the vine work
of human hands.
Our
name Takatu translates as Well-Prepared and this aptly defines our
approach to growing wine.
