Splash
Planet is about having a whole day's family fun. It is Hawke's Bay's
biggest and most popular family attraction. With more than 18 rides,
slides and activities, there is definitely something to suit everyone,
regardless of age.
While
most of Splash Planet is dedicated to water-based activity, there
is fabulous food at the Planet Café or fast food from the
Snack Bar. There's a quality retail shop and plenty of action for
those who prefer not to get their feet wet, with Mini Golf, Tiny
Town and the Fantasyland Express. The Sky Castle Screamer is not
for the faint hearted. This slide is all about speed and adrenaline
rush while the Sky Tunnel is a total blackout experience.
There
is more fun and slide activity on the Master Blaster in the indoor
heated pool area and the Never-Ending River could be the best cruise
you'll ever get to take.
Formula
Fun Racing karts are for the budding - or retiring - racing drivers.
For something a little less boisterous try the Bumper Boats and
Jungle Jeeps, ideal for younger kids. By the way, if any of the
kids happen to have a birthday while you're on holiday - bring them
to Splash Planet Or maybe come back later for a staff function,
meeting or business seminar. It's a novel but ideal location for
mixing a little business and pleasure.
