Trips / Milford Sound
For the complete Milford experience, join us on a journey above
and below the water to discover the special marine life that Fiordland
has to offer.
Daily
trips for up to 10 people will be operating over the summer season,
with diving and sight seeing tours within the fiord, divers will
have 2 dives in the morning and then enjoy the sights on the leisurely
cruise back to the dock, including the opportunity to go ashore
and take the short walk to one of Fiordlands spectacular waterfalls,
being a smaller boat we are able to get in close to the seal colony
and other waterfalls along the walls of the fiord. Be prepared to
been awed by the magnificent scenery.
Your guide for the day will pick you up bright and early from your
Te Anau accommodation, so you can sit back and enjoy the journey
through stunning Fiordland scenery to the famous Milford Sound itself……
Stewart
Island
We have a DOC permit that allows us to offer clients the opportunity
to swim with seals, this is a once in a lifetime not to be missed
experience.
Cruise across the infamous Foveaux Strait to beautiful inlets of
Stewart Island, take in the awesome sights. Walk the tracks of Olva
Island the local bird sanctuary and experience the tranquillity
and see the birds in their natural habitat.
We
have everything on board to enjoy diving, snorkelling, kayaking
and fishing or just laze back and soak in the scenery.
Southern
Wonderland Adventure Package (1 day Milford Sound, 2 days Stewart
Island)
Passengers join us for a 2 day cruise around Stewart Island, then
continue the adventure and join us for 1 day in Milford Sound or
vice versa.
Passengers
taking advantage of this deal will get a $50 per day discount on
hire gear.

Milford
Sound
Book a private charter for groups of up to 14 people, have awesome
adventures, either fishing, sight seeing or diving. 1 - 3 day trips
can be arranged, take a trip outside the fiord.
Stewart
Island
Day trips for up to 40 people, overnight trips for up to 14 people,
swimming with the seals, fishing, diving, kayaking, harbour cruises,
special occasions - the choice is yours.
Boats:
- 'Kiri-Waipai'
: 12 metre aluminium stabi craft, with a diesel onboard motor,
max of 14 passengers. (Fiordland based)
- 'Candice-Britt'
Fully licenced 20 metre catamaran, takes up to 40 passengers and
sleeps up to 14 on overnight cruises. (Bluff based)
Training:
Adventure Dive works under the umbrella of Adventure Education Tauranga.
We also run some New Zealand Underwater Association courses as well
as Coastguard courses. Our company is a NZQA recognized provider
and also run courses that are funded by the Tertiary Education Commission.
