Tongariro Alpine Crossing
Must do - a 19.4 km traverse of the Volcanoes of North Island Central Plateau.

The bus leaves our car park on fine days to take you to the start of the track at Mangatepopo road end and picks you up at Ketetahi road end in the afternoon. From July to October the Tongariro Alpine Crossing is now snow covered, winter equipment (crampons, ice axe etc.) is needed.
