we are just minutes away from Shantytown, one of the largest and
most popular tourist attractions in the South Island. Set in relaxing
garden surroundings, we are only a 2 minute stroll from an unspoiled
beach. From the beach, Mount Cook can be seen rising out of the
sea and our breathtaking sunsets have to be seen to be believed.
The West Coast
is world renown for scenic attractions which include Fox and Franz
Josef Glaciers, unique pancake rocks and blowholes of Punakaiki,
majestic snow-capped Southern Alps mountain range, rugged Tasman
Sea coastline, crystal clear rivers and lakes (well stocked with
game fish), and lush green rainforests.
