Choice of 6 x outdoor public pools ranging in temperatures from 36 - 40ยบ C and 4 x private pools, temperature controlled by you, drained and refilled daily with fresh, calcite laden, geothermal water, so a pure bathing experience is guaranteed.
Take a relaxing stroll to the Te Manaroa Spring. Along the way, learn about ferns and mosses that are unique to just a few geothermal areas in the southern Rotorua area.
After enjoying our unique waters and exploring the Eco-Trail, have a bite to eat from the 'Pukeko in a Ponga Tree' Cafe. Sit in the spacious outdoor seating area or under covered patio that looks out over the pools and out onto the valley beyond.
Adjoining the pool complex is a 20 site campground with shower, laundry & kitchen facilities.
Situated 35 minutes south of Rotorua off State Highway 5, Waikite Valley Thermal Pools is the perfect place to relax and unwind all year round. The pools are open 7 days from 10am (except on Christmas Day) and the Cafe is open from 12 noon daily.
