The spectacular coastline of the Pacific Coast Highway East Cape winds past one glorious bay after another, offering sun, views and some of the best fishing to be found on its way to our home at Waihau bay, whereyou are invited to share our seaside lifestyle.
We have a sunny Lockwood home with magnificent views and wonderful sunsets. come and be as relaxed or as active as you like, we have kayaks and a boat and we can set you off on a jet boat ride, horse trekking or a fishing trip.
We have a small self contained unit with one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, bathroom with disabled facilities, laundry kitchen and TV. Our guest bedroom has its own entrance with one double bed and ensuite with full disabled facilities. Our interests are fishing, meeting people, theatre, music and sports.
New Zealand meals of fish. Complimentary crayfish with meal if available, (in season) are our speciality. All caught in Waihau Bay.
Pets welcome. Our Pets Kaykay and Tosca enjoy meeting other pets
Big Game Fishing
Big game fishing is a feature of Waihau Bay, December to March and bottom fishing all year round, keeping in mind that if you are looking for a winter holiday this is the time for big kingfish and snapper, and the mild winters are great too for relaxing.
