Tokaanu Lodge Motel is situated right in the heart of Tokaanu, 5 km along Highway 41 from its junction with State Highway 1 at Turangi, about half way between Auckland and Wellington.
The motel is central to most of the North Island's tourist spots being only 2.5 hours from either Rotorua or Napier and just 30 minutes to the skifields on Mt Ruapehu.
Accommodation - 14 two and three bedroom accommodation units:
- 1 studio unit sleeping 1-3 persons
- 4 units sleeping up to 5 persons with separate bedroom & mezzanine
- 5 units sleeping up to 6 persons with separate bedroom & mezzanine
- 4 large units sleeping 8-9 persons with 2 separate bedrooms & mezzanine
All accommodation units have fully self-contained kitchens with modern appliances, refrigerator and microwave oven.
Some kitchens have full stoves.
Each has bath/shower units and separate toilet.

A minimum of 2 nights stay applies over public holidays / school holidays and weekends during the ski season.
- Discounts at the discretion of the owners.
- If a cot is required there is no charge for the child but a $10 charge for the use of the cot.
- There is a one-off charge of $5.00 per person to use our heated swimming pools - you can use them as many times as you wish during your stay.
