ACTIVITIES
Abundant marine life and a wealth of water activities for every interest: scuba diving, sailing, sea kayaking, deep sea fishing, parasailing, snorkeling, swimming or sunning on pristine sandy beaches. Take a short trip to the Hole in the Rock at the tip of Cape Brett to watch the whales and dolphins or a day trip to Cape Reinga and Ninety Mile Beach. Walk coastal, mangrove, or forested walks, taste wines at the vineyards, explore historical Pompallier or the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, play golf, tennis, or try lawn bowling. Ride horses, take a mountain bike.
