Ti Point Retreat offers spectacular coastal views together with a wonderfully private location. It has Leigh to the north, and to the south, it overlooks the crescent of Omaha Beach. There is easy access to tidal flats for safe kayaking when the tide is high. It is the perfect base from which to enjoy the beautiful Matakana area.
Ti Point Retreat is about relaxing and unwinding, rejuvenating the soul and recharging the spirit. All of which is of course, best achieved when accompanied by a glass of our own award-winning Ti Point wines!
ACCOMMODATION
The distinctive curved roof of Ti Point Retreat is modeled on the tramcars which used to be used as holiday baches at Tramcar Bay, situated just below us. The house has huge decks and lots of glass to take advantage of the views. It features native Rimu floors, high curved ceilings and rough sawn beams – old pylons from Princess Wharf in Auckland. Ti Point Retreat provides a private getaway for a couple looking for a special place to unwind. We also have a second guest room and can cater for a maximum of four people in the same party.

TI POINT VINEYARD
Having a natural love for the wines of Bordeaux made deciding what to plant on the tiny piece of family land on the Ti Point peninsula a breeze. Merlot, malbec and cabernet franc provided the perfect mix. "I love a red wine that has layers of flavour and an inviting texture that I can enjoy anytime of the day" and that's precisely the type of wine winemaker Tracy Haslam set out to create. The vineyard is beautifully situated on the Matakana Coast of the North Island, one hour's drive north of Auckland.
