Now it is our pleasure and privilege, to introduce you to the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park a treasure that we have found on our own doorstep.
We are a couple of kiwis who have roamed the world and ended up choosing Nelson as a place to live and this lovely national park as our place of work.
Kayaking the Abel Tasman is a 'must do' whether you are a visitor to our shores, or a Kiwi who just hasn't got around to it yet.
Guided Tours
If a kayaker could ask Mother Nature to design the perfect sea kayaking destination, it would consist of perfectly formed beaches, little bush covered Islands, sheltered lagoons, interesting rock formations, sea caves. Not forgetting some interesting marine and birdlife thrown in for good measure. AND if possible situated in a place with a fabulous climate Oh! And preferably make the location in a park while you were at it!!!!
Of course this is The Abel Tasman National Park. A treasure of a sea kayaking destination. It doesn’t matter that you have NEVER been sea kayaking before. This is a place where willing arms and a big smile are all you need to join us on our guided trips. There really is something to suit everybody.
Independent Kayaking
You'll appreciate our safe, modern, single and double rental kayaks!
Top grade accessories include life jackets, spraydecks, paddles, pumps, waterproof maps, spare paddle, sponge, emergency flares and rope. We also issue the latest marine weather forecasts and tide tables to each group.
Prior to departure you will attend a comprehensive safety briefing covering all aspects of kayaking from correct use of equipment through to emergency management and weather assessment. On the first stage of your trip, a guide will provide on-the-water paddling instruction.
