Only a one hour scenic drive north from Auckland to the beautiful region of Matakana and its picturesque coast - Tahi Lodge is situated at Snells Beach close to many activities and attractions.

Tahi Lodge is an ideal base for celebrating special occasions such as wedding or anniversaries, relaxing weekend getaways, holidays with family and friends, management retreats or as a home base for extended stays.

Guest Accommodation
Guests have the choice of self-contained accommodation in 'The Kawau Suite', or bed and breakfast accommodation in two private guest suites. All offer a touch of luxury, style and beautiful sea views across Snells Beach and Kawau Bay. For your comfort, we have a non-smoking policy throughout.

Food and Wine
Guests staying in The Kawau Suite have continental breakfast provisions provided in their self-catering kitchen. Guests staying in The Matakana or Sandspit Suites are offered a scrumptious full continental breakfast, consisting of a range of homemade delights such as yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit, muffins, bread, jams, and marmalades. Your breakfast tray will be served to you, giving you the choice to eat in your suite or outside on your own private patio.

The Matakana Coast region offers a number of vineyards, cafes, restaurants and bars where you can enjoy dining out and sampling local wines - or take-out, on the beach, or at Tahi Lodge can be equally as good!

  • Low Season (Apr - Aug): $225 per suite per night for 2 people
  • High Season (Sep - Mar): $295 per suite per night for 2 people

The Kauwau Suite (minimum 2 nights stay, includes continental breakfast provisions)

  • High Season (Sep - Mar): $295 per suite per night for 2 people
  • Extra guests (maximum 2): $20 per person per night
