Natuarally heated thermal pools - Enjoy relaxing in our exquisite Omokoroa thermal hot pools, as much as you like, at any time of the year.

Here at OMOKOROA THERMAL HOLIDAY PARK, natural mineral water fills our three pools to a lovely warmth, that truly relaxes the senses. The pure water comes direct from a hot-water rock stream metres below the earth's surface. The all-natural alkaline water leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. There is a real healing element to this mineral water and a good soak will do wonders for aches and pains.

Our largest pool is 10 metres long and around 4 foot deep. This pool is heated to around 35 degrees Celsius. There is also a large hexagonal pool (ideal for children, at about waist height) heated to 37 degrees Celsius.

We open the pool area every day at 8.30am for guests and close for the evening at 9.30pm in summer (or 8.30pm in winter months).

A smaller circular pool is for adults only.

At around 39 degrees, it is perfect for a languid soak and quiet relaxation.

Our pool complex is full fenced and there are changing rooms within it.

All guests of the Omokoroa Thermal Holiday Park are welcome to use the pools free of charge.

The general public (including guests’ visitors) are also able to come and enjoy our mineral pools – adults are $5.00 and children (under 14) are $3.00.
The hours of use for the general public are 8.30am to 9pm (summer) or 8pm (winter).

Games Room & Playground - There is plenty of entertainment on offer here at OMOKOROA THERMAL HOLIDAY PARK! Enjoy a game of pool in our Games Room, where you will find a 29-inch colour TV and a ‘mini-grandstand’- perfect for watching movies or a big game!

We have a small library of books for you to enjoy in the Games Room, and some great card games and board games are available at the office.

Grab a few families together and have a fun game of cricket in the park grounds – we have cricket and other sports gear (including petanque equipment) at the office.

The children’s playground is situated adjacent to the main amenities block, and within sight of most accommodations. You can supervise children while they play on slides, climbing walls, ropes, jungle gym bars and more.

Kitchen & BBQ Area - Guests love our al fresco BBQ area here at OMOKOROA THERMAL HOLIDAY PARK. We have two large gas BBQ’s which are free for all guests to use, and a lovely outdoor dining area (which can also be completely covered-in during colder weather) with many picnic tables. This BBQ area seats up to 70 people!

The BBQ area is centrally located with just a quick stroll from all accommodation and is also adjacent to the playground, showers and park kitchen.

Right next to this BBQ area is the park kitchen, equipped with six gas cookers, a microwave, oven, toasters, fridge and a Zip water heater, for continuous boiling water.

All kitchen appliances are free for guests use. We also have a large freezer available on request.
