Named Mountain View Motel because 7 of the 11 units have views of Lake Taupo and the Mountains (Ruapehu, Tongario and Ngauruhoe). Set back from State Highway 1 in a quiet location yet only 5 minutes' walk to the lake and a 10-minute walk to the many cafes, bars and restaurants - not to mention the retail therapy!
Accommodation
Our 2-storey units have 2 bedrooms and a shower room on the ground floor.
Upstairs is the kitchen, dining, and lounge area, which opens out onto the balcony. With extra beds in the lounge, some of the units can sleep up to 7.
There is a ground-floor 2-bedroom unit with a private lawn area at the rear complete with BBQ.
3 of our studio units are ground-floor and 1 studio is upstairs with a balcony. Bike storage. Off-street parking.
There is an outside play area with a slide and trampoline and a games room with a pool table and pinball machines.
