Luxmore Jet is based in Te Anau the gateway to both Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound.

Luxmore Jet operates jetboat tours on the Upper Waiau River which flows between Lake Te Anau and Lake Manapouri.

Our jetboat excursions explore the untouched wilderness of Fiordland National Park a World Heritage Area in the South Island of New Zealand. .

The jetboat tour allows you to view 3 actual Lord of the Rings film locations of the River Anduin.

The Luxmore Jet adventure will take you out onto beautiful Lake Manapouri to view the lake and magnificient snowcapped mountains.

We also offer a Fly & Boat option with the Wings and Water floatplane and a LORD OF THE RINGS Helijet with Southern Lakes Helicopters.

  • Kepler Mountains Fly and Boat - A 30 minute jetboat ride to beautiful Lake Manapouri where you will be met by the floatplane for a 12 minute scenic flight back to Lake Te Anau.
    Duration: 30 minutes in jetboat / 12 minutes on floatplane.
    Price: $240-00 per adult / $120-00 per child.
  • Nor West Lake Fly and Boat - A 30 minute jetboat ride to beautiful Lake Manapouri where you will be met by the floatplane for a 20 minute scenic flight to the Nor West Lake as seen in The Lord of the Rings and return to Lake Te Anau.
    Duration: 30 minutes in jetboat / 20 minutes on floatplane.
    Price: $325-00 per adult / $180-00 per child.
  • Doubtful Sound Fly and Boat - A 30 minute jetboat ride to beautiful Lake Manapouri where you will be met by the floatplane for a 40 minute scenic flight to Doubtful Sound viewing the Nor West Lake as seen in The Lord of the Rings and return to Lake Te Anau. Duration: 30 minutes in jetboat / 40 minutes on floatplane.
    Price: $415-00 per adult / $235-00 per child.
  • Lord of the Rings Helijet - A one hour jetboat ride to beautiful Lake Manapouri and return to Queens Reach where Southern Lakes Helicopters will be waiting to take you on a 40 minute flight landing at Norwest Lakes before returning to Lake Te Anau.
    Duration: One hour in jetboat / 40 minutes helicopter
