Linburn Farmstay is a spacious 1920s home, set in park like grounds amongst mature trees nestled in the picturesque Waimata Valley.
We are a working sheep and cattle farm which has been in the family for over 100 years. The property covers 680ha of farmland including 70ha of QEII native bush reserve. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and walk along the rive bank, or observe country life from the shelter of the veranda , or while soaking in the spa pool.
We are an easy 20 minute drive from the city centre.
Gisborne Accommodation
Family wing consisting of one queen room, one double room with private bathroom children are most welcome. Only one group of guests are accommodated at a time to give you total privacy. An extra queen room and single bed with private bathroom is available for extra friends or family you may have. (accommodates up to a total of 8 people)
Meals: Fresh produce from our garden is a feature in our home cooking. Full breakfast is included in tariff, served in our formal dining room. Evening meals are also available upon request, dinners also include a complementary glass of local wine and nibbles. The two course dinner is $25 per person. Your own dining area is available should you require it, or you can dine with the family.
Gourmet picnic hampers are also available.
