KRS is dedicated to showing you an excellent day on the river. We do this by having helpful, friendly staff and providing top quality equipment and clean comfortable vehicles. On the river we take the time to surf the rapids, swim in the calm pools and play in the favorite spots.

KRS rafting and kayaking guides are true boaters, not weekend warriors or students of rafting. They work both domestically and internationally on some of the world's most technically demanding rivers. Our guides are fully trained whitewater professionals, surpassing the Maritime Safety Standards, and they are passionate about rafting and rivers.

KRS is a small owner operated business. It is not hampered by high overheads, enabling it to provide the best experience at the best price.

White Water Rafting Trips:

• Mohaka River - One and two day trips, Grade 3-5. Price: 1 Day NZ$175pp, 2 Day NZ$350pp,
  Te Hoe Section NZ$120pp.
• Tongariro River - A beautiful river with tumbling grade three rapids, Grade 3. Price: NZ$90pp
  

Kayaking
Explore the scenic Waikato River on a guided kayak tour. This trip is a gentle paddle down our local river. See Taupo Bungy from underneath the platform, try a cliff jump and soak in natural hot pools. No experience necessary - this trip is for everyone!

Difficulty: Grade 1
Minimum age: 8 years old to paddle your own kayak. 3 years old to ride along with an adult.
Price: Adults: NZ$40.00, Children (13 and under): NZ$25.00, Family (2 adults, 2 children): NZ$115.00.
Departures: 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Afternoon and evening trips upon request.
