Based at the city lakefront. We are only 5 minutes walk from Rotorua's CBD and offer a range of lake jet boat options and combos. This is a 'must do' activity while in Rotorua. Jet boat options range from a 30-minute historic Lake Rotorua landmarks ride to a 2.5 hour jet boat journey across two major lakes, through the Ohau Channel, where you can soak in the secluded Manuipura hot pools which are only accessible by boat.

With a wide range of exhilarating and inspiring activities to choose from we offer something for everyone.

  • Get yourself prepared for 30 minutes of speed, spins and adrenaline. A classic blood pumping thrill ride on Lake Rotorua.
  • Take a high speed adventure across Lake Rotorua, through the Ohau Channel and onto Lake Rotoiti before a relaxing soak in the Manupirua Hot Pools. This tranquil location is accessible only by boat so a great way to get away from it all for a couple of hours.
  • For a combination of high speed action and pure tranquility then a trip to Hamurana Springs should be on your itinerary. Thrills on the water followed by a leisurely stroll to the crystal clear spring – what more could you want?

PARASAILING
Also on offer is Parasailing. Kawarau Jet has a 26ft purpose built Parasailing boat offering ten minute tandem or solo flights on Lake Rotorua. The boat is surveyed for ten people on board so observers are welcome. This will operate all year round weather permitting. Check out our website for further information.
