Paintball - It’s the fastest growing sport in the USA, has professional leagues and players all over the world and with phenomenal popularity both in Australia and New Zealand, Hinterland Adventures is helping Paintball go nuts here in Hamilton!!

This action packed game is perfect for any group and is sure to get your adrenalin rushing. Paintball Hamilton is one of the leading Paintball fields in the Waikato and provides you with the full Paintballing experience. Crawl amongst trees, ferns, a gully and creek in the bush-field plus enter the fast and furious zone of the speedball field!

Outdoor Laser Tag - Outdoor Laser Tag is the new realistic and painless way to play paintball without the impact and mess! By adapting real paintball markers with the high-tech Eagle Eye Laser Tag system, you get to experience this awesome activity at Hinterland Adventures Paintball site at Horotiu, Hamilton.

Played over our new third bush/gully Paintball field and speedball field (when available), there’s no need for masks as the lasers are completely safe. The third Paintball field has seen some ‘digger work’ over the last month which has created some awesome bunkers and increased the excitement factor.

Clay Bird Shooting - Whether you are an experienced shooter or it’s your first time handling a gun, this activity is a whole lot of fun for everyone.

Using live ammunition and real shotguns this is an event that challenges brain to eye co-ordination and really gets you buzzing. Our automatic clay bird throwers shoot clays off in all sorts of different directions (which keeps it nice and interesting) & allows us to set up slightly more tricky shots for those more advanced shooters.

Archery - Now is your chance to pitch the bow against the target. Test your strength, balance and accuracy all in one hit with this fun and challenging ancient sport. Our instructors give full tuition as you load the arrow, pull strongly and aim for the bullseye.  Some interesting targets will keep you focused and with a competition and fun prizes to be had, it’s a steady hand that’s needed. So be a Robin Hood for the day & give Archery a try

PAINTBALL HAMILTON

Starter Package - up to 1 hour

$30 p/p for 100 rounds, paintball marker, safety mask, 1 field, 2-3 games (overalls can be hired $5p/p)

Core Packages - 1.5 - 2 hours

$40 p/p for 150 rounds, paintball marker, safety mask, includes overall hire, two field play, 4-5 games
$60 p/p for 300 rounds, paintball marker, safety mask, includes overall hire, two field play, 4-5 games

Supreme Package - 2 hours
$80 p/p for 500 rounds, paintball marker, mask, includes overall hire, three field play, 6-7 games plus optional paintball pod belt

Extra paintballs
$10 for 50 paintballs
$15 for 100 paintballs

BYO Marker, Gas & Safety Equipment - Including Mask & Marker Plug

Standard field rates apply with each BYO player receiving double the listed paintballs per deal

BBQ Area - Hire the BBQ area and cook up a storm! A charge of $10 per BBQ applies. We cannot supply alchohol for your group but you are welcome to BYO for those over 18years old.

Night Games - A minimum number of 10 players is required for night games (played under spotlights). Only the $40/$60/$80 packages are available. The last night game begins at 7pm. Game discount vouchers cannot be used for night games.

NB - IF YOU HAVE A GROUP OF UNDER 10 PEOPLE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO JOIN ANOTHER SMALL GROUP TO YOUR TEAM ON BUSY DAYS. YOU STILL GET TO SHOOT YOUR MATES - DON'T WORRY!!! WE MINGLE YOUR TEAM UP WITH THE OTHER SO YOU'LL MEET SOME NEW PEOPLE TOO.

1-DAY-OUT, DAILY DO & GRAB ONE DISCOUNT VOUCHERS - RULES & REGS There are a few rules that were unfortunately left off these vouchers that you need to know about. These rules apply to all vouchers purchased through the above websites

1. Vouchers cannot be used in conjuction with any other offer or promotion
2. Paintball vouchers are not valid for night games (where spotlights are required) even after an upgrade has been purchased
3. You must inform us at the time of booking that you intend to utilise your voucher(s)
4. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, paintballs or overalls & no refunds are given on them
5. You can upgrade your $30 package to the other packages should you wish to do so
6. You MUST bring/produce your voucher on the day of your event. No voucher, no discount.

Outdoor Laser Tag

• $25 p/p, with us for approximately 1.5 hours, 4 games, varying amounts of ammunition and health (lives) are loaded per game, played on our bush field. Minimum age 7years, minimum number of 8 players.
• Extra 10 minute game $5p/p.
• Paintball Laser Tag opened at Hinterland Adventures on 8th May 2010.

Mobile Paintball

We bring the fun to a venue of your choice. Choose from the $40p/p. $60p/p or $80p/p packages with paintballs as listed above.  The travel and set up fee will be quoted once the location is arranged.  Obviously this activity must be held on a suitable location, the suitability of which will be determined by Hinterland Adventures management. Minimum of 10 players required. Minimum age of 11years.

Target Shooting Range

Perfect for kids under age 11 or for adults who dont' want to actually get hit with a Paintball! For Target Shooting held at our site at Horotiu the charge is $10 per 100 paintballs, minimum of 10 participants and subject to availability.

Alternatively we can bring the range to you, a flat fee of $500 applies which will give you 4,000 paintballs to use between everyone & includes the travel & set up charge for anywhere within a 30 mins radius of central Hamilton. Thereafter additional paint can be purchased at $10 per 100. If your venue is further out of town, give us a call to discuss any extra travel charge that may apply.

Claybird Shooting

• Premium Event - $65 per person - Premium Clay Bird Shooting event lasting 1 ½ - 2 hours. Each participant gets 25 shots at clays, we run a fun competition between the teams with a trophy for the best shot of the day. A great activity with heaps of shooting and lots of fun.

• Standard Event - $55 per person - Standard Clay Bird Shooting event lasting 1 hour. Each participant gets 15 shots at clays. Once again there is a light hearted competition between teams and a trophy for the best shot of the day. Good option if you're short on time or budget or just fancy a quick blast at this great sport.

• Additional shooting is $2 per shot & clay as required. Minimum number of 8 participants. Minimum age 13yrs. No gun license required.

Archery - $45 per person - includes full archery session trying your hand at this ancient sport. Total event time approximately 1.5 hours. Minimum number of 6 participants required. This activity can be setup at a venue of your choice (travel and set up fees & conditions apply). Minimum age is 13yrs. Available Sunday - Friday only.

Giant Games - Hire these fun games individually or as a package. Giant Mega 4, Giant Tower Blocks & Giant Get Knotted $65 per game, all other games $45 per game. Or alternatively hire all 8 games for $400. Delivery and set up fee applicable of $50 within Hamilton city, other locations will be quoted on demand.

Fun Team Days - $65 per person - includes full Fun Team Day session with up to 10 activities combined into approximately a  2 hour session plus fun prizes for the winning team.  This activity can be setup at a venue of your choice (travel and set up fees apply).Minimum of 10 participants. Only available Monday - Friday.

Rodeo Rodeo - $85 per person. Held exclusively at Hillside Hotel & Resort at Huntly. This activity involves working with livestock. 2hour session including Fun Team Day activities mixed in within the session. Minimum group of 14 participants. Only available Monday - Friday.

Off Site Travel & Set Up Charges - All our activities are mobile and can be re-located to alternative venues. The suitability of alternative venues is left to the discretion of the Hinterland Adventures team. A travel & set up charge applies to any off site location. For mobile Paintball should the alternative venue have a tree/wooded area that can be utilised standard fees apply, should the inflatable field be required please add $150 to the standard travel & set up fee to that area.
