An affordable range of farm style accommodation is available to suit the budget and requirements of independent travellers and families to our rural South Island destination.
Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation is a great way to experience the fun of farm life without any of the hard work involved! Ensuite guestrooms are available and guests can choose from typical B&B style lodgings or upgrade to our bed, breakfast and dinner package
The Backpackers Hostel provides clean, warm and comfortable budget accommodation. The shared TV lounge and full kitchen facilities provide wonderful opportunities to meet other interesting people from all around New Zealand and the world!
Campervans and caravans are welcome. A lovely peaceful parking area for those who prefer to avoid the crowded camping and noisy motorhome parks. Situated in a lovely natural setting, our boutique campervan and camping area has shower, toilet and full kitchen facilities. With limited power points, our guests are guaranteed a relaxing and private holiday! Our camp sites offer plenty of scope to enjoy the tranquil outdoor surroundings. Campervan parks are very popular and due to limited spaces we suggest you Make a Booking as soon as possible.
Families are always welcome at Glenmac and our terrific selection of exciting outdoor pursuits is guaranteed to keep the entire family entertained. Evenings can be spent relaxing in the family living room, watching TV, reading a magazine or playing cards.
Rural holidays are a wonderful opportunity for overseas tourists to experience life on a genuine and working 'Kiwi' farm and an enjoyable way for New Zealanders to participate in a unique vacation. Tour the farm at your leisure, watch professional sheep shearers hard at work, laugh at the playful antics of lambs during Spring and marvel at the speed and intelligence of our friendly sheep dogs as they help muster the sheep All farm work is seasonal and we cannot guarantee that you will be able to see all of the above at time of visit but you will get a good insight into the running of a 1583 hectare high country farm, as much actual "farming" as possible and friendly country hospitality with homecooked meals.

Our location and farm access is easy to navigate. We are just 10kms east of Kurow and 13 Kms west of Duntroon and just off highway 83. Turn into Gards Road and travel 5kms to end of road. The Magic Bus stops and picks up at end of Gards Road - transport provided from bus to farm. Please contact us for other travel options.
