Newly refurbished hotel Fern Lodge Inglewood provides heritage Irish hospitality. As well as getting the comforts of a hotel, guests can enjoy informal and formal meals, a delicatessen/café, a children’s play area and an Irish bar.
The refurbishment, although extensive, has retained the hotel’s heritage and grandness. By creating open spaces and maximising natural light, we now have a friendly and relaxing environment.
Fern lodge is situated 10 minutes from New Plymouth, making it ideal for visitors to Taranaki, corporate travelers, holiday makers and romantic weekends.
Its function/conference area caters for small or large functions, conferences, business meetings and corporate gatherings.
ACCOMMODATION
Fern Lodge Inglewood’s B&B accommodation wing has been restored and elegantly refurbished in-keeping with the rest of the Hotel.
It boasts 16 twin or double bedrooms, along with two larger family bedrooms. Each room has been individually decorated and charmingly furnished to create true comfort. All bedrooms have been fitted with security card locking, remote control television with access to SKY TV.
The guest lounge has been thoughtfully furnished making it a great place to relax, make yourself a cuppa, browse through the magazines and books or share a bottle of wine.
The roomy four guest bathrooms offer elegance with a mixture of modern luxury. Along with a free standing large claw foot bath, and separate shower stall, our bathrooms have hairdryers and other thoughtful extras.

For large groups (up to 150 people) we have a dedicated function room. This room can be opened up to include our lounge bar which seats 50 people comfortably, creating an even larger area.
The lounge bar and our paved outdoor courtyard are ideal for smaller groups. Both the lounge bar and the courtyard offer elegance and privacy.

BRASSERIE - A lot of thought has gone into the design of Fern Lodge Inglewood’s brasserie to ensure families, couples, groups and individuals can relax and enjoy their meal. As well as the Irish bar and great menu our brasserie provides a child’s play area, an outdoor sheltered landscaped courtyard great for those warm lazy days and evenings, and a large open fireplace to sit beside and while-away those winter days.
