Leaving Paihia we make our way to the Gum digger’s park where ancient Kauri forest was buried thousands of years ago.
Moving on we arrive at the famous Ninety Mile Beach. Enjoy breathtaking views that go on forever as you drive along this “highway of the North”.
Climb the giant sand dunes and toboggan back down. Arriving at Cape Reinga you enjoy magnificent sweeping views where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet.
Visit the ‘world famous’ Mangonui Fish shop on the way home and grab the freshest fish and chips as the sea washes gently beneath your feet.
